ABOUT
Paul and his wife, Lori, moved to Hudson in 2013. Paul has four children and three grandchildren. Three of his four children live in London, UK, Burien, WA and Charleston, SC. His stepdaughter, her husband and the three grandsons live in Red Wing, MN. Paul and Lori also provide support and care to her parents who live at Winter Green in Hudson
Paul Adams was born in Pasadena, CA and lived there for the first 22 years of life. He attended local schools and pursued his collegiate undergraduate work at Pasadena City College and the University of Southern California (USC).
He completed his bachelor of science degree in sociology in 1977. While at USC, he participated in the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) where upon graduation he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant, United States Marine Corps. (USMC). He served on active duty in the USMC for 27 years, 7 months in transportation and logistics. In 2004, Paul retired at the grade of Colonel (O-6). Upon retirement he relocated from HI to Prescott, WI, for 9 years. In 2013, he moved to Hudson where he has lived since.
Paul is an active volunteer with the MN Wing Civil Air Patrol (CAP) where he is a logistician and has served as a mission pilot for Search and Rescue (SAR) flight operations. He has nearly 20 years with CAP in MN. He is a certificated FAA pilot qualified in single and multi-engine airplanes and helicopters. He is also instrument rated in both airplanes and helicopters. He has over 800 hours of pilot in command flight time.
Paul has an extensive active civic service and engagement history.

Paul has worked for Saint Paul Public Schools, MN since 2006, where he provides administrative support to the Chief Operations Officer and Chief of Schools on a 12-month basis.
Paul's hobbies and interests are aviation, automotive repair and maintenance, camping with our travel trailer and keeping up with the grandsons.
